SAP BusinessObjects Mobile for iOS 5.1.8

Today, SAP released a minor update to its Mobile BI app, bringing the version number to 5.1.8 and adding only mysterious “technical improvements”. Those of you with iOS 7 (upwards of 80% of all iOS users) and automatic updates probably have the update installed already.

According to the Fixed Issues document (see link below), SAP has corrected eight minor issues, none of which I’ve personally experienced in the month since version 5.1.6 was introduced (see related article, SAP BusinessObjects Mobile for iOS 5.1). Still, it’s good news to see SAP releasing periodic minor updates to the app.

Below are links to the updated documentation, which for the first time was available on the same day the app was released in the iTunes App Store. Thanks SAP for getting the docs together so quickly. The documentation is a big help for those who deploy and support mobile business intelligence.
