, R.I.P.

This week, SAP announced that Business Objects was no longer a separate company and was instead SAP Business Objects, a division of SAP. The domain now redirects inside of the SAP web site.

The announcement shouldn’t be too shocking. Last January, one of the first items of merger business was to give all Business Objects employees new SAP e-mail addresses. But it’s just another signpost of the end of an era. And it makes me just a little bit sad. Yet hopeful for the future.
